- Car Radio Mute This feature mutes the car radio during a cell phone call. It is not a user-selectable feature. It is always enabled when Car Radio Mute is connected. Please note that the Car Radio Mute option might not interface with a few Factory original (GM) and Aftermarket car stereos due to differing electronics.

Please note that the terms of warranty require that the car kit be installed by an experienced installation facility. An end user should never attempt to install the car kit without professional assistance, as the installation requires special tools and knowledge. Electronic fuel injection systems, electronic cruise control systems, and other electronic systems can malfunction due to the lack of protection from radio signals. There are no returns on installed car kits, however, a Nokia Factory original one year warranty applies when professionally installed.
