Plug-n-Play: Two suction cups on the back of the zBoost YX300's base allow you to secure it firmly to a flat surface, even a window. But before that, you'll have to use your cell phone to find a location in your Hotel, home or office that gets a measurable signal. At least one bar will work, but ideally you should find the best signal you can. Keep in mind that the YX300 needs to receive a cellular signal in order to boost it (it doesn't create signals on its own), so if you can't get a signal anywhere in a building, then this product is not for you.
Antenna Range up to 6 feet: Attach the plastic boosting antenna to the base via the screw connector. Fortunately, the wire for the antenna measures 19 feet, so you have a lot of freedom as to where you can position everything. It's best to locate it near the center of the room to create a wide boosting area, as the zBoost YX300's range is only four to six feet from the antenna. The antenna also has two suction cups so you can attach it a variety of places.
Dual Band: This means that you can use this Repeater/ Booster unit to repeat/ boost ALL cellular and PCS frequencies, on all networks, except the ESMR radio frequency band used for Nextel, SouthernLinc, ClearNet, & Boost, which use the 3WATTBOOSTER3 3 watt Amplifier.
